Getting Started

A Step By Step Guide

Know The Basics

There are hundreds of options available when choosing stone or quartz, and the prices vary a lot. We can’t provide an accurate estimate until you make a preliminary stone choice. To know what is available, go to a slab yard, not a fabrication shop, as your options will be limited.

  • Choose a material thickness. 2cm materials give you more edge options and a more aesthetically pleasing look. 3cm materials limit you to edges that are only the thickness of the stone, along with other design limitations. So, make sure that you only look at 2cm materials.
  • Choose a color and surface finish that fits your design needs.
  • Where To Look For Stone: Visiting a slab yard can be overwhelming unless you know what questions to ask the person who helps you. We suggest starting with the low-priced materials, then working your way up until you find something you like. Keep in mind that the slab yards seldom share pricing with customers; if they do, they are retail prices.
